The History of The Inity Sound System
THE HISTORY The Inity Sound System is a spin off of the original band name which formed in Eugene Oregon around 1990. Founding members Matt and Tim Taylor, close friends Cody Buettner and myself Chris Allison were all brought together by our love of reggae music. All of us where just teenagers back then. We all grew up in that little hippy town, also the home to University of Oregon. Growing up I was blessed to be in a musical family, we always had music on. My grandmother was a music teacher who taught at Michigan State, although I never was able to take piano or formal lessons from her I remember being around her while she played for the church, and at home with her students. At a early age I wanted to play instruments too. In middle school I began with the trombone, playing in the band class for the year.
